Who We Are
Larison Contracting Corp. is a heavy civil and marine contractor based in Signal Hill, California. We build marine terminal and intermodal rail yard improvements, wharves, rock revetments, shoreline protection and navigation structures for ports, harbors and public agencies across Southern California.
Founded in 2021 by Clint Larison, who brings 40 years of heavy civil construction experience, Larison is a certified small business that works both as a prime contractor and as a joint venture partner on major port and federal projects. Our clients include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Port of Los Angeles, and the Counties of Los Angeles and Ventura.
We're known for well-run jobs: careful planning, the right crews and equipment for each site, and finding a way to get the work done, whether that means mobilizing within days for an emergency or setting a navigation light by helicopter. And we stay easy to work with, which is why owners and partners keep calling us back.
ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT
Clint Larison, President
Clint Larison founded Larison Contracting Corp. in 2021 after 40 years in heavy civil construction. He started his career as a pile driver, then worked as a project engineer and superintendent before moving into project management. He went on to serve as Executive Vice President of Connolly Pacific Co., Executive Vice President of Reyes Construction, and Senior Vice President of Herzog Contracting Corp.
Projects Clint built during his time with those firms include the Pier E Container Yard and Intermodal Railyard at the Port of Long Beach and Metro's Southwestern Operations & Maintenance Facility, both winners of AGC of California awards for excellence in project management and partnering, along with the Berth 100 Wharf South Extension at the Port of Los Angeles, the East Garden Grove–Wintersburg Channel Improvements for the Orange County Flood Control District, and Metro's Exposition Phase II and LAX/Crenshaw light rail lines.
Clint stays directly involved in Larison's work, from estimating and planning through construction, and is known for building project teams that put safety, quality, environmental compliance and ethics first.
He has long been active in the industry through the Associated General Contractors of California, where he has served as Chairman of the Los Angeles District Board, Heavy Highway Division Chair and a member of the Executive Committee. He currently serves as an AGC of California trustee on the Western States Carpenters Pension, Health & Welfare, Vacation and Training Trusts, and as a trustee of the Southern California Funds for Construction Industry Advancement.
